Training Camps, Training Days and Seminars The best way to get our ideas and methods across to a
number of people. We travel nationally
and internationally to teach everyone from novices to world championship
contenders and we can also arrange events at our own venues. We'll put in 6 hours of solid training
(more by arrangement), preferably working with small groups. We can build the
day round one or more of our standard workshops (see below) or we will design
an event to suit the dogs and handlers attending. Half days and evenings (3
hours) can also be arranged and we can run one-off events or provide a
structured course covering the Crazymaesy methods in detail. |
Private Dog Agility Training We don’t
spend our days giving lessons to people, but we can do “privates”
by arrangement. Put a small group
together or if you’re really keen book a 1:1 session. Get the
individual attention from an expert which the club environment just can't
provide. Let us help you and your dog to find the handling styles which suit
you best, sharpen up existing skills and address any weak points. We can work at your venue or ours. |

Carpet Training Occasional
training sessions at Trindledown Farm which we advertise on Agilitynet. Or get a group together yourself. You and your dog can learn to run more
swiftly and safely on the carpet surfaces found at Crufts, Discover Dogs and
the World Championship qualifiers. |
Club Nights Treat your
trainers to a rest or give them a boost with a night of training just for
them! Book Crazymaesy to host a regular training evening once a month (or
two). We will help you come up with a plan that suits everyone. You know you
deserve it! |

Workshops
Why not put some focus into your
guest trainer session by running it as a workshop aimed at developing
specific dog agility training skills? A
workshop will usually have between 6 and 12 handlers who want to improve on a
particular set of skills. We can
probably design a workshop around any dog agility topic. To give you some ideas, here are themed workshops
that have been successful in the past. |

|
Contact Workshop We aim to achieve speed with accuracy. Analyse and improve your contact
technique or learn alternative approaches, with plenty of opportunity to
practice. Alternatively, book a series
of workshops over several months to teach you and your dogs the famed
Crazymaesy contact method. |
Weave Workshop This is the workshop for you if your dog has slow weaves or unreliable
weave pole entry. We can provide additional equipment needed for this workshop.
This workshop is NOT suitable for dogs unable to weave. |

Think on Your Feet Workshop Ever run a course and found yourself in a totally different position to
the one you'd planned when you walked it? Did your legs turned to lead or
your brain to jelly when you tried to change your handling to compensate?
Panic no more! We can teach you to think on your feet and wave goodbye to all
ring-induced stress! |
Distance Handling Workshop Are you happy running all the way from obstacles 1 to 20 or would you
like your dog to do the hard work for you? Does your dog have to wait for you
to arrive at each obstacle or fill time by spinning in manic circles at your
feet? Would you like to have enough breath left at the end of a round to be
able to congratulate your dog? If so, then this is the course for you! |
|
Motivation Workshop Is your dog fed up and flat? Put the fun back into Agility! Put the
bounce back in their step! Let's show them just how much fun it really is. |
Crazymaesy Handling Workshop A step-by-step guide to agility using the Crazymaesy Method. A
consistent approach to handling, footwork and body language which increases the
dog’s speed and tightens turns. |
