Crazymaesy Agility Training
Dog Agility Training in
Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire
Crazymaesy and White Horse
are unfortunately unable to take on new members as we operate strict control on
the numbers in training sessions and our existing members tend to acquire more
dogs rather then leave! The best source
of information on dog agility training clubs and instructors is the excellent
A-Z of Clubs on Agilitynet www.agilitynet.com. The contact information below is largely
taken from this as at November 2005 and there are more details on Agilitynet.

If you offer dog agility
training in this area and we haven’t listed you then email iain@crazymaesy.co.uk and we’ll add you
to the list. Also please feed back if
any details are out of date or incorrect.
We’re reluctant to recommend
particular clubs. New clubs emerge, poor
clubs improve and good clubs deteriorate as trainers and members move
around. Also one club may be great for
beginners and another for experienced handlers.
One club may only take large dogs seriously and another may have a
strong small and medium dog section. Try
a few and see what suits you! That said
here are a few suggestions based on personal experience.
·
Anthony Clarke
is the top Junior handler in the country, one of our
members and an excellent dog agility instructor. We may be biased, but if you get a chance to
work with Anthony, David Munnings, Natasha Wise, Simon and Lorna Peachey, Chris
Kurzfeld or any other of our members or ex members who teach dog agility then
we think you should take it!
·
We’ve enjoyed
our time as members and trainers at Corton, Chippenham and
·
We’ve also
worked with some of the trainers at South Cotswolds, Wye Valley, Sassydogs,
Souldern, Woolstone and Bincknoll at various times. We often suggest the last two to
beginners.
·
Greg Derrett,
Jon Watts and Sue Frazier are all well known, experienced and very successful
competitors with a good reputation as instructors.
