Coming from Oxford it is quicker to take the A420 towards Swindon and pick up the A417 to Lechlade at Faringdon.

From the centre of Lechlade take the A361 North towards Burford.  After about half a mile Hambidge Lane is a left turn by a fish and chip shop which goes to Eastleach, Hatherop and Southrop.  Follow this for a few hundred yards.  When you're out of the houses you are almost there.  The paddock is a right turn on a right hand bend.  There is a lay-by on the left if the gate is closed.  If you go over a disused railway bridge you've gone too far.
